Digital Product License

This Digital Product License explains how you may use digital products purchased or downloaded from Digitlo.

When you purchase or download a Digitlo product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use that product according to the terms below.

You are not purchasing ownership of the copyright or other intellectual property contained in the product.

Unless a product page or separate licence states otherwise, this licence applies to Digitlo downloadable educational resources.

1. Personal and Household Use

Unless otherwise stated, Digitlo products are licensed for personal and household educational use.

You may:

download the product to your personal devices;
save a backup copy for your own permitted use;
print copies for your own use;
print copies for children within your household;
reprint pages when additional practice is needed;
use selected pages from the resource rather than printing the complete product.

The licence is granted to the purchaser and does not automatically extend to other households, individuals or organisations.

2. Teachers, Tutors and Educational Professionals

The standard personal-use licence does not automatically permit classroom, tutoring-centre, school or organisation-wide distribution.

If a product specifically states that educator or classroom use is included, you may use it according to the licence stated for that product.

Unless additional permission is provided, you may not:

distribute the digital file to other teachers or staff members;
share it across multiple classrooms;
place the file on a school-wide or organisation-wide shared drive;
provide copies to another school, tutoring centre or organisation.

Digitlo may offer separate classroom, school or other educational licences for certain products.

3. What You May Not Do

Unless Digitlo gives written permission or a separate licence specifically allows it, you may not:

resell a Digitlo digital product;
redistribute the original PDF or other digital file;
email or send the complete digital file to other people;
share your download link with others;
upload the product to another website, marketplace, social-media group or online platform;
upload the file to a public or shared file-storage service;
copy substantial parts of the product for redistribution;
reproduce the product for commercial distribution;
remove Digitlo branding or ownership notices and present the product as your own;
use Digitlo materials to create competing products for sale;
modify the product and sell or redistribute the modified version;
convert the product into another digital format for redistribution;
include Digitlo files in paid or free bundles, memberships, subscriptions or shared resource libraries.

4. Digital Sharing

Purchasing one copy does not give permission to distribute the digital file to friends, relatives, colleagues, other parents, teachers, students or organisations.

Please do not:

forward the purchased file by email;
send it through messaging apps or groups;
upload it to public or shared cloud storage;
post it on social media or online communities;
share your personal download link.

If another person or organisation would like to use a Digitlo resource, please direct them to Digitlo to obtain their own copy or appropriate licence.

5. Printing

You may print the number of copies reasonably required for the use permitted under your licence.

For example, a parent or caregiver may print or reprint pages for children within their own household.

Printing a product does not give permission to reproduce printed copies for resale, public distribution or use outside the scope of your licence.

6. Modifications

You may make minor changes for your own permitted use where technically possible.

For example, you may:

print at a different scale;
print only selected pages;
make reasonable adjustments for your own permitted educational use.

You may not modify a Digitlo product and then sell, publish, redistribute or present the modified version as your own.

Modifying a product does not transfer ownership of the original content or intellectual property to you.

7. Commercial Use

Unless a product or separate licence specifically permits commercial use, Digitlo products may not be used for resale or commercial redistribution.

You may not:

sell printed copies;
sell digital copies;
include the resource in paid bundles;
include Digitlo content in another commercial downloadable product;
distribute it through a paid membership or subscription;
offer the product as a free download to promote another business;
reproduce substantial parts of it in products intended for sale.

8. Copyright and Ownership

Digitlo retains all applicable rights, title and intellectual-property rights in its original products and content, including:

worksheets;
learning packs;
illustrations;
graphics;
text;
layouts;
designs;
branding;
downloadable files.

Purchasing a product gives you permission to use it only within the limits of this licence.

9. Free Printables

Free Digitlo resources may have their own usage terms.

Unless otherwise stated, free resources are also intended for personal and household educational use.

Downloading a free resource does not give permission to:

resell it;
repack it;
redistribute the original digital file;
upload it elsewhere for others to download;
commercially exploit the content.

If a free resource includes different licence terms, those specific terms will apply.

10. Product-Specific and Additional Licences

Some Digitlo products may include different or additional licence terms.

Digitlo may offer licences such as:

individual-use licences;
classroom licences;
school licences;
organisation licences;
commercial-use licences.

Where a product page, download page or accompanying licence provides specific terms, those terms will apply to that particular product.

11. Download and Account Access

Your ability to download or access a purchased product does not change the scope of this licence.

Even if a product remains available through your Digitlo account, it may only be used in the ways permitted by this licence or any product-specific licence.

12. Refunds and Licence Rights

Purchases are also subject to our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

If a refund is issued for a digital product, your right to continue using that product may end where permitted by applicable law.

13. Violation of This Licence

If we reasonably believe that a Digitlo product is being copied, shared, resold or otherwise used outside the permitted licence, Digitlo may take reasonable steps to protect its products and intellectual property.

Depending on the circumstances, this may include:

restricting download access;
restricting account access;
requesting removal of unauthorised copies;
taking other action available under applicable law.

Nothing in this section limits any rights or remedies available under applicable law.

14. Changes to This Licence

We may update this Digital Product License when our products, licensing options, business practices or legal requirements change.

The latest version will be published on this page with the updated revision date.

If a particular product was supplied with its own specific licence, those product-specific terms will continue to apply according to their terms.
